Hello,
I am trying to upgrade my machine with your newest stable version of Mantis and I have a few questions.
First of all I have heard before that in order to upgrade the Mantis 1.0.0 rc2 there is a tweak in the database tables that needs to be made before being able to upgrade. Can you give me some more information on this.

All the other software meets your version installation requirements except for the version of PHP.
Is there anything that needs to be considered while upgrading from php 4.4.0 to php 5.2.x.

I could not find this info on your web site, I will be very thankful if you could tell me about those issues.

[Victor] I would recommend you upgrade to MantisBT 1.0.0, then from
that upgrade to MantisBT 1.1.7. This is the recommend upgrade path
from any pre-1.0.0 release. Probably with a 1.0.0rc2 you should be
fine, but it would be better to go the safer route.

[Victor] MantisBT 1.1.x is compatible with PHP 4.4. You will need to
upgrade to PHP 5.x before upgrading to MantisBT 1.2.x when it is
available.

So first it is needed to upgrade to Mantis 1.0.0 using the usual upgrade steps.
Is there anything that needs to be changed in the db while doing this? Any issues that arise in doing this process that you can recall.

And also any issues in moving from 1.0.0 to 1.1.7?

Thank you a lot for your time.

[Victor] Backup is the only step you need to do before any of this
upgrade work. You can move from pre-1.0.0 to 1.0.0 in one step and
move from 1.0.0 to 1.1.x in one step. Hopefully no issues there.

BTW, even though it is not required, it is still recommended to move
to PHP 5, since PHP 4.x. is no longer supported by Zend.

Regards,
Victor.
